ALICANTE GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Friday 21st November 2014: A good morning to you all!!!.....As you may see for yourselves if you stick your head out the window, there is some cloud floating around today in the sky that could drop the odd shower!!!......However, that sun will be shining down in the main although some grey matter may develop on the north later!!!........If you are down on the costa and thinking of taking a walk along the beach beware.....there is offshore rough seas expected and therefore stay well away from the waters edge!!!.......However, you wont be that lucky tomorrow with the sun!!!........the entire province and indeed our neighbours will be grey and overcast come the morning and, whats more, a definite increase in that risk of showers!!!......Then rain to come through the night in the wee hours of Sunday morning and Sunday day looks to retain that overcast grey matter and again, risk of showers again!!!......As we proceed through the week ahead that combination of broken cloud, the sun peeping through and risk of showers is pretty much a daily occurrence through to Friday!!!.......Oh yes, we said it would be an unsettled week and come Friday the unsettled nature of the weather is looking to take a turn for the worst in many areas of the Iberian Peninsular. We are looking to see a very deep and active cold front push down bringing with it that freezing Arctic air again and this time it is looking to run deep into North Africa!!!......If this anticipated weather pattern remains it has the potential to cause flooding to central areas of the Iberian Peninsular and indeed to areas in our immediate vicinity so we are paying a very special attention to this in the hope I am wrong and that I can report during the week its diminishing chances of occurring!!!.......As it stands its coming and if it does we are looking at a rough weekend next to say the least!!!.......And if it comes we are looking to wait until at least the middle of the week after before we have any chance of that weather picking up!!!.......So, having given you all that bad news of doom and gloom ahead, let me give you some good news........Its Friday!!!.......Its therefore time to try and find that Friday feeling, ignore the grey matter, make the most of the afternoon where we might just see that sun on the costa, and take solace that we have, at least, had an amazing run of good and hot weather this year and therefore need the rains that may be coming!!!......So, do watch out for official warnings for the winds over the next couple of days and do start to share out the info regards what is looking to come next weekend......and do stay tuned for updates and remember, you heard it first right here on the EiA.........Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!!
