ALICANTE GROUP WEATHER UPDATE Wednesday 21st January 2015: Good morning everyone.....I am pleased to say that we have sun about all day ( dont you just love a bit of rhyme!!!).......Seriously though, we have sun every where with only light cloud expected and whats better, that other weather system coming in looks to merely cause this region some cloud inland and a raised risk of a shower tomorrow......with wind.....lots of wind!!!......Yep, tomorrow our inland areas will see some greyness whilst the most populated areas along the coast will have sunshine in the main but, as a result of that weather system breaking down, boy is it likely to be windy!!!......There is a risk of rain through the night in our north but only of that wind drops, and come Friday we see sun again as we do over the weekend with only light cloud levels!!!......Now, up until this point our temperatures have been rather cool during the day or bloody cold at night, but come next week we may see a slight increase as we start the week ahead. We remain sunny Monday and Tuesday and look to start Wednesday fair as well, but Wednesday night and into Thursday next week I am still looking at bad weather to come!!!....Just how bad we remain to foretell, possibly tomorrow, so do pop back for updates!!!......On a slightly different subject, if you are looking to travel south west tomorrow down into or across Granada, perhaps heading Malaga direction, then that weather system I mentioned above is likely to be dropping snow that way. Therefore do check the DGT web site and view the interactive road map which will give you the very latest road information and particularly its state. There are snow warnings issued and its not uncommon for the main routes across northern Granada to get closed......Theres always the coast route if you have the time!!!....Thats it for today so have a good and safe one......Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!! :)
