How it started: In Ethiopia and now grown around the world, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn (means middle of the world, where climate is warm and humid – necessary conditions for growing sensitive coffee plant). 2. Types of beans: Coffea Arabica and Coffea canephora (Robusta coffee) commonly used in commercial coffee trade or production. 3. From fruit to beans: Fruit turns green to red (plum cherries lookalike). Only plum cherries lookalike are hand picked. Each fruit has 2 coffee beans. The exception to this is the Peaberry, where only one bean is produced. 4. Processing coffee beans: Polishing and sorting coffee beans. 5. Geographical location and attributes: Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Jamaica, Hawaii. 6. Different types of roast: Light, Cinnamon, Medium, City, French, Italian and Espresso.
