ALL BEINGS MATTER (2010) Renata Laura Some passions or compassion cease to exist without me I crave peace to ease the suffering that will exist with or without me Carry onto sleep in dreams with selfish imagination, it continues indefinitely Letting go would remove all prayer and all that is divine, for mere finery When you cannot express compassion it resolves like memory Blasted as a shooting star into the galaxy so dark, a bleeding heart in a body unharmed And still all Beings matter. Some Beings on earth are only babies without the safety and love When all are born they are part of the world that I wish to make my own What more can I do do to protect you, I cant take comfort in the plain knowledge That all Beings matter, and in all you have known You might never see a Heaven and nurture is shortlived Compassion for even the smallest is worth it, There are many hands that exist on land, there are not enough ways of expressing A break in the distress to the rest of natural kind As time evolves more minds will open outside of flaunting shoes or flimsy vice All dogs go to Heaven, barn animals to Candy Mountain to rot like decay What can I do, there is only one of me and two of you, you wait til its all over When we pass there are other Beings repeating a pattern of forever I wish for an ethereal humanity on earth where All Beings Matter.
