ALL GREEN LIGHTS ON THE HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN? Just because we Christians will eventually live happily ever after doesnt make THIS particular life a fairy tale. (Amen?) As prophesied, todays false teachers of The Church of the Itching Ears — for their own personal fame and fortune — tell their followers what the people want to hear. In so doing, these charlatans have upgraded the good news to the GREAT NEWS! ▣ Myth #1: GOD WONT ALLOW ANYTHING BUT GOOD INTO YOUR LIFE. Tell that to the surviving family members of the Christians throughout the world who are currently being crucified, pulled in two, buried alive, or beheaded by a 7th century religion bringing back 1st century techniques. ▣ Myth #2: ALL YOUR SINS — PAST, PRESENT, AND THE ONES YOU FULLY INTEND TO COMMIT IN THE FUTURE — ARE ALREADY FORGIVEN, EVEN BEFORE YOU SIN. As Paul would say, God forbid! The concept that we can sin even more under cover of Jesus blood than we formerly did under cover of darkness is a lie straight from the pit of hell. ▣ Myth #3: WELL ALL BE RAPTURED TO GLORY JUST BEFORE ANY UNPLEASANTNESS OCCURS DOWN HERE. So, when the Bible (in both the Old and New Testaments) tells us that the Antichrist makes war with the saints and overcomes them and that many Christians are beheaded during the coming tribulation… ? To expand their numbers and income at the feet of the GOLDEN IDOL OF CHURCH GROWTH, these wolves in sheeps clothing also promote an exaggeration of health & wealth. They convince their weekly contributors that if theyre faithful with their tithes and offerings, God will make sure that there will be nothing but GREEN LIGHTS ahead for them, all the way home on the Highway to Heaven. Thats the message that fills the pews and offering plates to overflowing. ☛ Never mind that Matthew through Revelation is filled with YELLOW CAUTION LIGHTS, warning and urging Christians to not sin, to be holy as He is holy, and to walk as Jesus did. ☛ Never mind that Matthew through Revelation also contains many RED STOP LIGHTS, not the least of which are the WORDS IN RED of Jesus in John 15:1-6 (those Christians grafted into the Vine can be cut off from the Vine by the Father and thrown into the fire and burned up due to their refusing to bear fruit). Paul — PAUL! — was concerned that he himself might be disqualified for the prize, and Peter warned us all not to fall from our secure positions. The Bible told us thered be days like this! ➤ YOU AND THE HOLY SPIRIT REALLY NEED TO SIT DOWN TOGETHER TO READ THE BIBLE. You dont need a seminary degree or to be fluent in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew or to depend on anyone else to read it and give you the key points as they see them. Ultimately, its not the truth that will set us free. Its KNOWING the truth that sets us free — but how can you know the truth that youve never read? DONT NEGLECT SO GREAT A SALVATION!
