ALL I NEED IS A PLACE TO RETIRE AND SOMEONE TO LOVE .... PLEASE SAVE THIS SENIOR ... NYC ACC WILL KILL HIM VERY SOON. HE IS ON THE SUPER URGENT LIST AND COULD BE ON THE KILL LIST TOMORROW! https://facebook/Urgentdeathrowdogs/photos/a.617942388218644.1073741870.152876678058553/860287443984136/?type=1&comment_id=860330360646511&offset=0&total_comments=9¬if_t=photo_comment_tagged SUPER URGENT 8/24/14 Manhattan Center DONY - A1011662 NEUTERED MALE, WHITE, POODLE MIN MIX, 16 yrs STRAY - ONHOLDHERE, HOLD FOR ID Reason STRAY Intake condition GERIATRIC Intake Date 08/23/2014, From NY 10459, DueOut Date 08/26/2014, Medical Behavior Evaluation BLUE Medical Summary SCAN NEGATIVE BRIGHT, ALERT, RESPONSIVE, HYDRATED PHYSICAL EXAM- tense geriatric heavy tartar cloudy eyes small growth on dorsal neck slightly loss of hair obese neutered NOSF Weight 15.4 A volunteer writes Dony waits at his door, very calmy, like a good little lamb, all curly and plump. His eyes are a bit cloudy but he walks in one straight line and avoids all obstacles. He manages stairs with a little help. He cocks his head when he hears the miaw of a cat and gets all perky. He might have lived with a feline...Leash free, Dony is curious of his environment and explores the premises. I bet he feels lost having been clearly a housepet all his life. He is quite well groomed. Dony has no handling issues and does not mind being carried or lifted on the lap. He likes to be caressed, slowly getting back into the mode of being a pet..I like this elderly chap..his looks and gentle manners. If his owners do not come back for him, i hope that soon enough he will find his way to a home that will love him and respect his golden years. Dony is at the Manhattan Care Center.
