ALL Ireland Football Qualifier Preview Wexford v Laois, 2pm, Wexford PK, Sunday Laois and Wexford lock horns in a do or die battle in Wexford Park on Sunday afternoon. Both of these teams played Dublin in Leinster and both lost. Laois however, played in round 1 of the qualifiers and just managed to scrape over Fermanagh. Wexford lost to Dublin by 16 points while Laois also lost by a big margin. However, saying that both teams put up good efforts but Dublin showed why they are All Ireland champions and ended up easy winners. The Wexford team have many scoring forwards who on any given day can dismantle a defence. Ben Brosnan, PJ Banville and Ciaran Lyng are the main threats. In the middle Daithi Waters is a leader and was expectional against Dublin. In defence Graeme Molloy and Conor Carty, Brian Malone are all good defenders. The Laois team have also many talented forwards with Ross Munnelly and Donie Kingston the main scoring threat. In defence Colm Begley and Paul Begley, Darren Strong are all playing well. A tight game on the cards. Home advantage might swing it. Verdict: Wexford.
