ALL MY FRIENDS: I wanted to let you know that my mom and dad reminded me that this sudden increase in my blood pressure and heart rate, has happened before, It happened the last time I had a stent... I had almost forgot... Pressure gets up to 226/110 and heart rate 146. It makes my chest BURN... but it does go down and gets back to normal within 20 mins. My cardiologist said I did right by going in, but that he cleared my heart at least the stent part. I cant take blood pressure medicine, cause usually Im a little under or right on the norm. Medicine makes me go TOO low. and can keep my heart from pumping fluid off properly resulting bad things. It is a flash increase, and we have yet to figure out what causes it. Many years, many doctors and much money later, we can at least tell you what it ISNT. So, I will rest, I havent had this happen in years, so I hope the stent will settle in and knock it off!! Whatever it has disturbed in the electrical part WILL get better. I just have to manage till it does. At LEAST I know what it is and how to deal with it. YAY.
