Jesus calls Himself the good Shepherd who cares for God’s precious children.He provides for your daily needs,protects you,shows you the path of righteousness,and searches for you when you go astray.Then He lovingly brings you back to the safety of the flock. However,there is one crucial difference between the Palestinian shepherd and his flock,and the good Shepherd and His children.In order to enjoy the care and protection of the shepherd,the flock had to provide for the needs of the people.Jesus Christ,the good Shepherd,however,offers you His protection and immeasurable love,and asks only that you love Him in return.Is it too high a price to pay for a love that exceeds all other loves by far?’
