Look whos funding it: The Chamber of Commerce is a big illegal alien supporter. Theyve sponsored mailings, ads and even have a secret office employing 3 people (instructed not to tell you who they work for) at 810 Main St. Look at Saturdays Tribune. The big-money medical and elder care facilities sponsored their ad to repeat the Citys threat and scare elderly people. Merrick Manor is part of a county facility. Pastor Scott Jensens information meeting was given by a muzzled police force (who, incidentally are people you can respect); handed out only information opposing the ordinance; and called security to silence anyone with dissenting opinions. Maggie Zarate has her 2nd letter in the Tribune in the last month - in spite of their strict rule limiting No voices to 1 every 30 days. The Tribune is part of the Yessers. There may have been an honest mistake made but its interesting that the No side received ad quotes from KHUB and put together a budget. Then the ad price somehow doubled. Were at a point where the facts of the ordinance tell you less than the tactics. For the Yessers to run this scared and resort to their underhanded tactics, they must have a very good sense of how angry the people of Fremont are with an arrogant and defiant Council, Chamber and Councilmen-Landlords scrambling to protect their nest egg.
