ALL students attending Sylacauga City Schools during the 2014-15 school year must provide two proofs of residency before enrolling in our school district. Rental/lease agreement, mortgage document or current real property assessment document in the parent/guardians name. (Required proof of residency) plus one additional: Utility bill for water, electric, or gas that indicates that the billing is in the parent/guardians name and is being sent to the house. Other examples include: bank statement from last 30 days, social security letter and food stamp letter from last 30 days, W-2 form from last year with the address, property tax paid from last year, and current court documentations from last 30 days. Parents may provide two proofs of residency on July 14 - August 8. Indian Valley Elementary parents can pick up their child/childrens homeroom list, supply list, and provide proof of residency on the following dates from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM: July 15 - All First Graders July 16 - All Second Graders.
