ALLAH Bismillah Irrahman Irrahiym –In the Name of ALLAH, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate and the Most Forgiven Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal. No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep over takes Allah. To Allah belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. Who can intercede with Allah except with Allah’s permission? Allah knows what happens to them (creations) Before or After or Behind them in this world, and what will happen to them hereafter. They cannot gain access to anything out of Allah’s knowledge except what Allah wills. Allah’s Chair (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and Allah does not feel fatigue in guarding and preserving them. Allah is the Exalted, the Great, the Most High, the Supreme (in Glory). Quran 2:255 “Have you not heard of that [king] who argued with Abraham about his Sustainer, [simply] because God had granted him kingship? Lo! Abraham said: “My Lord is He who grants life and deals death.” [The king] replied: “I [too] grant life and deal death!” Said Abraham: “Verily, God causes sun to rise in the east; cause it, then, to rise in the west!.” Thereupon he who was best on denying the truth remained dumbfounded: for God does not guide people who [deliberately] do wrong.” Quran 2:258 QUR’AN Qur’an means read, recite, and proclaim. Quran is the final revelation of Almighty Allah and revealed for the whole of humankind. Qur’an revealed in 23 years, was recorded as soon as it was revealed under the supervision of Muhammad, and the Qur’an exists today in original form unaltered and undistorted. Allah the Almighty has Himself taken the responsibility of preserving the Qur’an and He says, “Surely, We have revealed this reminder and LO, We verily are its Guardian.” Qur’an 15:9. The subject matter of the Qur’an is man and his ultimate goal in life. According to Qur’an, neither Abraham nor Jesus joined other gods with Allah. Jesus said, “I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30. “And We did not send you (O Prophet) except as a mercy to all worlds.” Qur’an 21:107. “…A Book (the Qur’an) which we have revealed to you, (O Prophet!) so that you lead mankind from the depths of darkness into Light- by the permission of their Lord-to the Path (towards Him), the Exalted in Power, the One Worthy of all praise. Qur’an 2;185. Two copies of the originally compiled Qur’an are still preserved in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and Istanbul, Turkey. HADITHS Hadiths are the advices or words of Prophet Muhammad should be applied in every aspect of our lives. “When you see unjust, change with your hand; If you can’t change it with your hand, change it with your tongue; and if you can’t do that either, condemn it in your heart. That is the lowest level of faith.” Muhammad ISLAM Islam is a way of life. It is guidance provided by Allah for all mankind. Islam tells us the purpose of our creation and our final destiny. It shows us the best way to conduct our private, social, political, economical, moral and spiritual affairs. Islam means peace and peace acquired by obedience and by complete submission to Allah – the Almighty God. Thinking Islam is formulated about 1400 years ago, Prophet Muhammad was the founder of Islam and Islam was spread by the mighty SWORD is a misconception. Muhammad was the last and final messenger of Allah. Through him, Allah, revived the same genuine faith, since the original message had been corrupted, split into various religions, indulged in interpolations and admixture. When asked to Robert Alter, who wrote the “The Five Books of Moses – Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, why after so many English versions of The Five Books of Moses, he said, “There is as I shall explain in detail, something seriously wrong with all the familiar English translations, traditional and recent of the Hebrew Bible- the Five Books of Moses. 50,000 Errors in the Bible article appeared in the Awake magazine (Ref), Bible: the evangelists… have collected and recorded in writing the materials given to them by the oral tradition.” (Ref 12:p56.) “No one should add anything to or take away anything from the Holly Book (revelation 22:18-19 and Deuteronomy 12:32 “Prove all things; hold fast which is good.” (Thessalonias 5:21.) According to Qur’an, God eliminated these alien elements, purged, purified and restored the original message which had been conveyed by all His previous prophets- Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, David, Solomon, Moses and Jesus – prophets who appeared at different times and places –all propagated the same faith and conveyed the same message of Oneness of Allah God, prophet hood and Hereafter. “Don’t they know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal?” Qur’an 2:77. “Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: “This is from Allah.” to traffic with it for a miserable price! –woe to them for what their hands to do write, and for the gain they make thereby.” Qur’an- 2:79 “It is Qur’an which We have divided (into parts from time to time), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals; We have revealed it by stages.” Qur’an 17:106. “Surely, We have sent you with the truth, as a bearer of happy news, and as a Warner: And there were never any people, without a Warner who did not live among them.” Qur’an 35:24. Islam rejects the thought of brotherhood based on race, caste, creed, ideology etc, but “Taqwa” means God-consciousness, piety and righteousness. Anyone who is righteous, pious and God-conscious is honored in the sight of Allah. Allah say in Quran, “O mankind! We have created you from a single (pair) of male and female, and made you into nations of tribes so that you may know one another (not that you may hate each other.) Surely, the most honorable of you, in the sight of Allah is (he, who is) the most righteous of you. Verily, Allah is All Knowing and is Well-Aware (of all things.) 49:13. “And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and earth, and the difference in your languages, and your colors. Surely, there are signs in this for those who know.” “We have honored the children of Adam.” Qur’an 17:70. And Allah says, “I have not created Jinn and mankind for any other purpose except to worship me.” Qur’an 51:56 Following are the words of Malcolm X, about Islam, “Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and such overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as is practiced by people of all colors and races here in this Ancient Holy land, the home of Abraham and all the other Prophets of Holly scriptures. For the past week I have been truly speechless and spellbound by the graciousness I see displayed all around me by people of all colors. I could see from this, that perhaps if white Americans could accept the Oneness of God, then perhaps, too, they could accept in reality the oneness of man – and cease to measure, and hinder, and harm others in terms of their “differences” in color. With racism plaguing America like an incurable cancer, the so-called “Christian” white American heart should be more receptive to a proven solution to such a destructive problem. Perhaps it could be in time to save America from imminent disaster – the same destruction brought upon Germany by racism that eventually destroyed the Germans themselves.” - Malcolm X “Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.” Quran “Nor take life – which Allah has made sacred – except for just cause…” 17:33 “Whosoever kills a human being without due reason – not in retaliation for murder or corruption on earth – it is as though he had killed all of mankind.” 5:32 For the right to a basic standard of life, Allah say in Quran, “And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share.” 51:19 “O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.” 5:8 “The sense of justice that Islam encompasses is one of the most wonderful ideas of Islam, because as I read in the Quran, I find those dynamic principles of life, not mystic but practical ethics for the daily life suited to the whole world.” (Lectures on “the Ideals of Islam”-by Sarojini Naidu Madras, 1918, p 167. “The extinction of race consciousness as between Muslims is one of the outstanding achievements of Islam, and in contemporary world there is, as it happens, a crying need for the propagation of this Islamic virtue.” A.J. Toynbee, “Civilization on Trial” New York, 1948, p. 205. “History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races in one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.” De Lacy O Leary in “Islam at the Crossroads” London, 1923, p8 Islam says, “THERE IS NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION FOR TRUTH STANDS OUT FROM ERROR.” Quran 2:256 Muslims believe that Religion depends on faith and will. Force can conquer but can’t convert. Indonesia has more than 100milyon strong Muslims, but not a single Muslim soldier went there to convert them. Malaysia, majority of the people are practicing Muslims, again not a single Muslim soldier went there. Hindus still have their own religion although they were mastered over 1,000 year by Muslims. If Muslims used sword to convert, how Hinduism survived for centuries? Spain was ruled 736 years by Muslims, but we can’t read a single story contains sword. They still are Christians. In fact, when Muslims were ruling Spain, all Christians, Jews and Muslims lived in peace. When Spain expelled and harshly punished Jews for their mischief actions, Islamic Ottoman Emperor is the one brought them to Turkey and give them full rights in every aspect. Africans and Bosnians are all accepted Islam not by sword or force but the characteristics, good conducts and moral rectitude of early Muslim traders. Today, Islam is the fastest growing religion in UK and in the USA. Did anyone of you ever felt the sword of Muslim on your throat? Islam was accepted because of its principles, righteousness, equality in human rights, protecting the dignity, honor and wealth of Muslims and non Muslims. Again, Islam is against racism, chauvinism, slavery, social, racial, gender and religious inequities. ‘The more I study the more I discover that the strength of Islam does not lie in the Sword.” - Mahatma Gandhi the father of modern India, in Young India “IT IS HE (God Almighty) WHO HAS SENT HIS MESSENGER (Muhammad) WITH GUIDANCE AND THE RELIGION OF TRUTH (Islam) THAT HE MAY MAKE IT PREVAIL OVER ALL RELIGIONS, AND ENOUGH IS GOD FOR A WITNESS. Quran 48:28 MUSLIM Ashadu An La Ilahe Illallah we Ashadu Anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah or La Ilahe Illallah Muhammadar Rasul Allah, means “There is no God but God and Muhammad is His Messenger. So, Muslim is who believes and declares “Tawhid” the Oneness of Allah, Muhammad is His final messenger, His Angels, Holly Books {Torah to Moses, Psalms To David, Gospel to Jesus, and Qur’an to Muhammad}, His Messengers, The Day of Judgement, Predestination or Supremacy of Divine Will, and Life After Death with a sincere heart. MOHAMMAD S.A Muhammad is the final messenger of Almighty Allah. “They say: “Why does Muhammad not bring us a sign from his Rabb? Has not proof the Qur’an came to them which is contains teaching of the previous scriptures?”Qur’an 20:133 “If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genious, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhummed? Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational beliefs, of a cult without images: the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire that is Muhummed. Those who believe religion can be spread by force are fools who neither know the ways of religion nor the ways of the world. Allah said: “O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to My self and clear you (of the falsehood) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow you superior to those who reject faith, to the Judge between you of the matters wherein you dispute.” Quran 3:55 “I am indeed a servant of Allah: he hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; And he hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me prayer and Charity as long as I live.” Quran 33:30-31 “They say that: “We have killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, messenger of Allah.” Neither they killed him, nor did they crucify him, but (it was made) to resemble from them. Surely, those who differed in it (they were) in doubt about it. They did not have any knowledge about it except following the guess and surely they did not kill him.” Quran 4:157
