ALLAN KASAVULI Open letter to you Dear Allan, REF: ARE YOU - TopicsExpress

ALLAN KASAVULI Open letter to you Dear Allan, REF: ARE YOU CONVINCED YOU STILL ARE THE RIGHT MAN FOR OUR CLUB? Exactly a year and a month ago you were “elected” to lead our dearest club AFC Leopards Sc. for a period of 3 years. You had come into our club promising various things and you were courageous enough to put them in some sort of manifest which I don’t want to repeat here since my query to you is per the above subject. For one year you have basically led (if at all we can use that word) the club in what can ridiculously be called - trial and error method - as can be seen just in the way you have handled changes of the technical bench. You have refused to show leadership in reining in your fellow members of the NEC which led to some embarking on a looting spree and at times outright embezzlement, begging missions that were purported to benefit the club but which absolutely never did. It took the courage of a few members to raise these issues but you still ignored them until members took matters into their own hands and resolved to suspend 3 members of NEC from office and from club membership, one of them being your principal assistant the National Vice-chairman of the club whom the constitution mandates to do tasks allocated by you. Was the V/C acting at your behest when he committed the wrongs leveled against him? It’s a pity that you have not even convened a NEC meeting one month after the resolution of the members at the AGM club to effect the changes and even review the feeling of members at that AGM. At that same AGM the financial statement was out rightly unanimously rejected by members and they expected you to re-do the whole thing and advise when you will table same afresh and how. As mentioned above you are yet to convene a meeting of NEC after the AGM, so when do you expect this to be done and how? Further from the grapevine we are informed that you have solely agreed? signed? approved? decided? accepted? sold? Passed over? (excuse me! But I don’t know which word to use in the absence of your report) with super sport to the rights of INGWE PULSE a club magazine at a paltry fee of usd10000 (Kshs 870k). This has been done without the approval of NEC and nobody in NEC seems to have the exact details of same. Even the said usd10000 hasn’t been remitted to the club account. Can I ask you a query please? Do you know the value of the club you lead? Do you know why zuku were willing to pay Ksh.10m per year for same rights that you have gifted to messrs Supersport? You authorized or let a member/s of the NEC allow a certain businessman to import and sell club “replica” jerseys, and in payment of royalties to the club a bounced cheque was issued and no recovery has been done yet the jerseys continue to sell, how do members not suspect that somebody perhaps your own self is immensely benefitting from this scum? There is also the small matter of the sale of our striker Allan Wanga to El Merreikh of Sudan which we were told was at the cost of usd50000 or ksh4.35m, however the monies banked by the club from the statements at the bank is ksh3.35m indicating a whooping ksh1m shortfall, how can we explain this anomaly? That you paid yourself for services rendered to the club? I haven’t exhausted all the issues that need answers from you however with just a few raised, are you able to look at yourself in the mirror and answer that simple query that I raised initially? “MR ALLAN KASAVULI DO YOU STILL BELIEVE YOU ARE THE RIGHT MAN AT THE HELM OF OUR CLUB?” Nyasaye Akhukonye.
