ALMA NYC seeks to serve local NYC artists with an opportunity to grow in their vocal audition skills, while raising awareness and funds for the charity Giving Africa. Last year, ALMA raised funds to help build the Bethel School in Burkina Faso. ALMA currently is hosting 10 workshops with the goal of raising money to support a childs education at the Bethel School. The first workshop is Sunday, February 23rd. 8-9pm at Danny Studios. 305 W 38th St New York, NY 10018 b/t 9th Ave & 8th Ave $10 suggested donation. There will be a short group vocal warm-up. Please bring 16-32 bars of music or audition sides to work on.
