ALMERIA & MURCIA WEATHER UPDATE Saturday 22nd March 2014: Good morning from a very wet and windy London Heathrow. When I landed yesterday afternoon I was shocked, a gasp, beside myself with disbelief even...........the sun was shining!!!......but of course, this is the UK and when the sun shines it is merely a warning of impending rain!!!........Anyway, must move on as I have another flight to catch!!!........Today we are looking again at mainly sunshine but inland areas are likely to see reasonable cloud and there is good risk of heavy shower activity in the afternoon particularly up in Murcia Region as a cold front passes through!!!........There could be good cloud cover preceding this cold front but it remains the back end where the real risk of showers exists. Also, those winds are going to return to some areas as we progress into the afternoon particularly along the coasts of this group!!!......The cold front I mentioned is passing to the South East and is to bring that temperature dip with it that will last through to at least Tuesday so in places you may have to turn your heaters on again particularly in the evening!!!........Now look, if your one of those north eastish of the border types up in Alicante then you are likely to see rain again but mainly towards the afternoon but I do not cross the border again and what happens in the Region of Murcia does not exactly cross into Alicante even if you are closes to that fence!!!.....strange as it may seam!!!.........Sunday and indeed Monday and Tuesday are looking like triplets with reasonable sunshine, yes windy in places and yes, a wind coming down from the land of the Mushy Pea so a cooling wind ( its an English joke folks...you see in England they eat some weird things in the North....like Mushy Peas!!!)........Still keeping an eye out on that weather for the end of the week and into next weekend but at this time it is looking an improving picture for This group at least but your not out of the woods just yet.........Will keep ye all informed on that as we roll through the week!!!.......Now, yesterday I told the story of my telephone call with young Hamish in Scotland. First of all, hands up who read it!!!.....e on, hands up!!!......and hands up who got it???.......oh my lord, not many it seems!!!......I had a conversation with two members of the LFWW network yesterday who shall, because I value my life, remain nameless, and they had both read the forecast and I quote we are expecting the punch line in tomorrows forecast!!!........So, an explanation to all those who forgot to put their thinking caps on.......... Hamish was told that there is to be change in the weather.......CHANGE!!!......as in money change!!!.......he ran to the garden and stood there waiting to catch the change.......as in money!!!........Oh well, some you win, some you loose!!!......Im going flying so speak to you all from the deserts of the Middle East tomorrow!!!........Unless we get abducted by Aliens too!!!.........Jim Fraser for the LFWW Network feeling bemused!!!
