ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHA WORLD Wow what a ride Hurricane Iselle took us on. The hurricane did no damage to my house but damaged many in the area. My land phone line worked the whole time but I was not so lucky in power and cable. Power went out last Thursday and I just got my power a little while ago. I was not able to even look in my neighborhood until Sunday the 10th of August as I took some pictures of the pole that had snapped in half that were still suspended in the air as of yesterday. Lots of electrical lines all down on the ground and must have been really bad when they did fall to the ground live. Then I got a call at 2:10 pm Hawaii time that my power was back on. Still has some issues they have to strap the line to my house but I HAVE POWER lol BTW my house uses electricity to pump water to my house from a catchment tank in the yard and it was so nice that I took a shower at home.
