ALOR MONARCH, A MAN OF HIS WORDS- DONATES A 500KV ELECTRICITY GENERATING TRANSFORMER TO UMURU-IDE CLAN IN ALOR TOWN, ANAMBRA STATE. H.R.H, IGWE MACANTHONY CHINEDU ELIBE OKONKWO, EZEDIORANMA III OF ALOR KINGDOM, when he assumed office as the monarch of this great dynasty Alor promised a breath of fresh air to Ndi Alor; among his numerous promises includes establishing forty youths as millionaires in his first four years as the crown bearer of Alor town, also was his promise to rebuild Obi Agbudugbu the Ancestral home of Alor- his promises all centered on improving the lives and General well being of the sons and daughters of his Kingdom Alor. Roughly one week after his confirmation and recognition as Igwe Alor by His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano the executive governor of Anambra state Elibe has achieved in this short while what many monarchs live out their whole tenure without achieving. Ranging from his attraction of multinationals to establish their businesses in Alor thereby creating jobs to the teaming unemployed to engaging world renowned donor Agencies and international NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS to help alleviate poverty and foster human capacity development of his kits and kin. Elibe has in this short while engaged in various town union and village/kindred meetings where he contributed meaningfully to the development and enrichment of the people. It was in the course of such meetings he discovered that UMURU clan needed a new transformer and purchased one as well refunded all those who contributed money for the repair of the old one. This one mighty step, is a show of how lucky Ndi Alor is to have.... I would say a humane Igwe. Humane in the sense that Elibe is not, I believe the wealthiest Monarch in Igbo land but his strides is a rare occurrence if truth must be told. We all come from various towns where wealthy Monarchs govern us traditionally, and we all know how little or magnificent their performances towards town development are. In a scale of 1-100, Elibe is gorgeously cited at the topmost. This down to earth monarch on the 30th of June 2014, gave out a brand new 500KV electricity generating transformer to UMURU-IDE clan in Alor town on his personal cost. In his words at the presentation at his Palace in Alor, I promised Alor people a bright future, now am starting it with a bright light, I bought four new transformers all 500KV, I will dash them out and commission them properly. I solicit with all well to do indigenes of Alor to emulate from this gesture of mine. Giving is our lord Jesus Christs purpose of blessing man- if God has blessed you, then bless your people. I recognize those doing wonderfully well already, in due time and season, we will accord them a deserved accolade.
