ALVIN, DELLA and THERON COLEMAN. I will be forever grateful to Meryl Dasher. This is one of the photos she gave me at the Goff Family Reunion a couple of weeks ago. I have never seen a picture of my grandfather before and know very little about him. I was thrilled to receive this little part of my family history. According to the 1910 Census, Alvins occupation stated, Water Tank, RR. Alvin, his mother Mary Jane and sister, Ora Mae lived in McAlpin probably for a couple of years or so. After they married in 1911, Alvin and Della moved to Jacksonville.They were divorced about 15 yrs. later and Della moved back in with Susan and Elkannah Goff with her two children, Theron and A.D., Jr. This photo was taken about March, 1913.
