AM I NOT FREE? the apostle Paul to the Corinthian Christians in first book, ninth chapter verse one. It is by freedom that a man knows himself, by his sovereignty over his own life that a man measures himself. Ellie Wiesel One writer says 152 of 194 nations celebrates INDEPENDENCE DAY (or something like it). There are two are kinds of tyrannies that rob us of our freedoms: outward and inward. Outwardly are political, religious, corporate, academic, civic, etc. The greater is the inward tyranny: self imposed, personal perspectives that we think is reality but in essence is making a reality that does not have to be. Failure to believe what you can not see even though others see your beauty, others see your potential, others see you, the REAL you. Those perceptions will lead you to habits that shape you into something or someone that you will become but not what you could have become. They are fears that stop you cold in your tracks or lead you to supporting what you do not support (believe), telling your self rational-lies, or seeking to justify yourself. Build personal trust in you instead. Resist tyranny whether it is from without or from within. Resist putting trust and seeking security in others. Do not look for a champion to give to you your dignity and honor and joy and health. The independence each of us instinctively desire is already ours. Learn to accept it. No one can take it from you if you know it is yours. Ronald Reagan knew tyranny would fall! How did he know? He knew liberty belongs to all of us. Tyranny cannot rule inwardly or outwardly for very long once we realize it. Nations and national parties and institutions of any kind that are tyrannical from the top down will implode at some point. Neither political party in America understood, nor any of the experts understood what a simple man knew and was willing to stake his entire political success on! Bottom up tyranny, self imposed tyranny that individuals do not resist because they just cant see what others can see or cant see how something can be when all they hear is that they cant and they tell themselves that they cant and thus they dont and conclude that they were right to say they cant. They will implode at some point, too. Instinctively, were all Pauls - am I not free? Yes I am! Yes, you are too. The more I know this the more I will experience even greater freedom or independence. Its instinct. Declare your freedom and share it with people (not on face book, well, here, too but share it with people in your life, on your street, in your clubs, churches, where ever you go where you interact person to person, face to face).
