AM I ON A ROLL or what? I just turned down a request from a student who wanted to do a study on animal-assisted therapy. She first approached me asking me if I could get at least 4 disabled ppl with animals if they would be willing to do an interview with her. After much encouragement and convincing they consented. She said she would need an approval from her university and then get back to me. She did! After ONE YEAR! With no apology except for excuses, I just told her off. What gives abled bodied people the right to think that disabled have no feelings and exist for them only to be taken advantage of? She and her university got what they deserved.
