AMAI CARNIVAL 2015. THEME:CARNIVAL FOR PEACE AND PROSPERITY,: OUR VISION,OUR MISSION. I have been made to understand that few individuals are of the opinion that it is not carnival that Amai need for now.I want us to understand that we can not rely merely on sweet words and well crafted comments for us to witness development in Amai.We need a good game plan,wisdom based strategies and follow up actions in order for us to achieve and surpass our kingdom developmental dream and goals.WE NEED TO WORK OUR TALK.In the democratic and political arena the keyword is LOBBY.Until you lobby your way through,nothing comes to you or your community.For you to lobby you must have a voice,and above all you must create an arena or medium through which your voice will be heard.AMAI CARNIVAL is one of the arenas strategically orchestrated by AMAI VOICE in order for us to speak out.It is my dream that in few years to come the governor of Delta state will attend AMAI CARNIVAL.It is POSSIBILE.Yes we can achieve it.Our vision is to create an enabling environment for funfare and entertaiment while we present our challenges.Most times in life it is easier to get something from a happy mind than from a sad mind.Our plan is to use the CARNIVAL as a bait to pull government functionaries,corporate entities,individual investors and Amai sons and daughters to AMAI KINGDOM in order to fast track development.Rio de Jeneiro carnivals in Brazil,London carnivals in UK,Lagos,Calabar,Uyo carnivals in Nigeria etc had in no small measure generated wealth and brought developments to the aforementioned cities and countries. AMAI CARNIVAL is a strategy for development,it is not a pop dance or student union party.It has been observed that many Amai sons and daughters have not visited Amai for the past five years,many dont come at all,i tried to find out why they dont come home and the response i normally get is what am i coming to do? But do you blame them?AMAI CARNIVAL will give many people reasons to come home,not only to come home but to come to Amai and build goodly houses,invest and join the development train that will comfortably establish Amai as a prosperous kingdom in Ukwuani/Ndokwa nation and Delta state.I hereby boast in the Lord that Amai in few years to come will witness accelerated and unmatchable development through AMAI CARNIVALS in Jesus name.I am happy that notable Amai sons and daughters both in Nigeria and the diaspora are all in support of this great 21st century event.They all agreed with me that EBE UKPE NEGHU KI ENYA NE NE meaning WHERE LIGHT DEY SHINE,NA THERE EYE DEY LOOK.Lets support AMAI CARNIVAL for peace and prosperity.KANI AMAI DIMMA.
