AMAZING POST #2 - My grandfather’s one-of-a-kind home movies of Italian bicycle racing in New York City in 1930 (2nd of 4 parts)... ITALIAN CYCLING PART 2 - UNIONE SPORTIVA ITALIANA - NEW YORK CITY 1930 Friends and family- This home movie (part 2 of 4) of bicycle racing in New York City in 1930 was filmed by my grandfather, William Whitman, Sr. It includes the Unione Sportiva Italiana (USI) Championship Race in September 1930 (1st place: Mickey Asarisi; 2nd place: Felix Lafenetre; 3rd place: Jack Ciulla). My grandfather loved to film the USI and Italian bicycle racing in New York City. The slow motion effects were done by my grandfather during filming. The medal at the end was given by the USI to my grandfather. The music is by my daughter, Anna Haas. I hope you enjoy. Please let me know if you recognize anyone, and please share widely...
