AMCast for Wednesday, November-26th-2014: Overall, this morning - TopicsExpress

AMCast for Wednesday, November-26th-2014: Overall, this morning would be a mild start with temperatures in the 40s range across Long Island, as the rain moves in from the NorEaster becoming more steady later in the morning. The temperatures will also decrease overtime through the morning to the upper 30s. Whats in the outlook for lunchtime and PM Hours? I am still more leaning toward a snow condition throughout the island despite some temperatures saying it is above freezing, but accumulations are not expected to be heavy due to the ground surface still overall mild and not enough to keep the snow from melting. Still we are around the Wintery Mix area for Central South Nassau and Suffolk Countywide except a chunk of the Northwestern Suffolk area, I expect consistent snow in that area along with North Central Nassau and the entire 5 boroughs of NY. Heavier snow will be diagonally running from Western Philadelphia, Central New Jersey, Hudson Valley, Western Connecticut and East Central Massachusetts, they are facing Winter Storm Warnings in those areas as opposed to our area still seeing Winter Storm Watches. Still, I recommend you to keep tuned to us (or your local news station) for the PM forecast posted around lunchtime. -Kevin / Meteorology Geek.
