AME RANT #1 !! :P I rarely rant, but this is a pure rant. How? How on Earth did our music quality in this country fall to the level where this song is at number one for six weeks?? Instead of praising her for singing the most pointless song in history - why the hell arent we outraged that our country is stuck in a music vaccuum?? Is there nothing awesome or original coming out nowadays? I know we do have talent. I see it on YouTube. Do we not want real talent anymore? Do I have to keep rotating my Gwen Stefani albums in my player? I was telling someone about how teens love Nirvana and know all the songs and he said, Of course they are. We have no good music now. Absolutely right and today it is proven. Im so disappointed by this. ETA: If you played this for me and I didnt know who the artist was I would guess: Gwen Stefani. If you listen to the voice and stylings of the chorus it sounds just like her. Those music execs know exacty what they are doing. They know Gwen sells and this girl is their ticket to the bank. Omg. Gwen Stefani - please release more music. BTW, they even mention TOYKO. I mean - could they BE more obvious?? They are aiming for all that Kawaii market that is Gwens bag Baby. . . Gah. Im annoyed. Also note the Alicia Silverstone/Clueless stuff happening here . . Even the storyline. Geez.
