!AMEN! This hits all too close to home for Me and James on both sides...and I get so sick of hearing these ppl telling those of Us that are strict on Our kids that We are being "too hard" on them. I believe that kids should be able to have fun and different levels of fun at different ages, and in My famILY 90% of that fun is just that, famILY time/fun and under Our supervision! ...BUT they also have their share of chores to do as well and are held responsible when those chores arent done. You leave Your child to their own devises, DO NOT blame someone else b/c You werent around or wanted to be more of a "friend" to You KIDS than a PARENT! If You are a PARENT, You run things, NOT a KID!
