AMENDED NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MALAYALI ASSOCIATION NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MALAYALI ASSOCIATION Dear Malayali Association Member, Greetings from Malayali Association, Many thanks to each one of you for making Malayali Association (MA) inauguration a success with your participation and support. MA is completing its present term and it is time for an Annual General Meeting (AGM). We will have an opportunity to review what we have done during the past year in the short duration and the way forward for the years to come. The AGM is to be conducted as below: Day and Date - Sunday, 30th March 2014 Time - 16.00 hours to 18.00 hours Venue - IAB Hall, Seria AGENDA FOR AGM 1. Review of 2013 AGM Minutes of Meeting and approval of the minutes 2. Presentation of Annual report for the past term 3. Review and approve the Income and Expenditure statement for the year ending December 2013. 4. To review the tentative budget for year January 2014 to December 2014. 5. Appointment of Auditor 6. Resolution - If any member would like raise any matter as a resolution during the AGM can do so but shall send the details of such matter / resolution in writing to ma.honsecretary@gmail on or before 23rd March 2014. 7. As the current MA committee will vacate their office, MA members are eligible to vote and nominate for position in MA management committee (17 positions). Therefore, in case you are interested to be nominated, we request you to submit your nominations to ma.honsecretary@gmail on or before 27th March 2014 17.00 hours Brunei time. Official AGM notice and nomination format are sent to all Malayali Association members. If any Malayali Association members havent received AGM notice by email , please contact ma.honsecretary@gmail. 8. Any Other Business Submission of Nomination: While we encourage active participation of any member to submit nomination to be an office bearer in the management committee, as guidance, we like to inform you that all your particulars will be submitted to the respective authorities and subject to police verification. Also, our advice is to obtain prior consent of your employer to avoid any complications later. MA Request : If any of our friends being MA members and not receiving the email,please bring to MA notice or inform to this email.
