AMERICA -- or people reading this. What is boycotting black Friday going to do? Hurt our economy? Do people REALLY think THAT is going to do the trick, because you all come together on ONE day, to not go shopping?!?!?! You have to start here...IN THE VOTING LINE!!!!! We have to elect the local, state, and federal officials who speak directly to the needs of the people. You cant sit at home on each and every election day....allow the people who do go out and vote to control the system, then get mad at injustices. That makes absolutely no sense at all. Get educated on what it is actually going to take to make change and as a mass of people, be consistent in the plight to invoke change. The civil rights movement was not 1 day...it went on for a while. So stop jumping on the hysteria bandwagon, and actually change your ways so we can invoke change that speaks to us as a whole..... oh yeah...and STOP coming down on President Obama for his speech last night. Hes the President of the United States....which means hes a politician first and must give a political response. Just because hes black, does not mean hes your homeboy. Hes not going to release a statement out of emotion...that is not professional. He cant win for losing with some of yal. I see soooooooo much on my timeline that is so disheartening because half of yal spewing all this, not all, but a lot, DID NOT go vote in the Congressional election, and did not go an vote for your state officials.....so there you have it...get educated and know what youre talking about...... You want to help....start a voter registration drive.
