AMERICANS are pathological ONIOMANIACS, thanks to high pressure television advertisements. The impulse to buy is pitiful and most homes have been transformed into warehouses and depositaries. I guarantee if one goes through the homes of every American they will find things that were bought and never used or under used---loads of unnecessary buying---just because people felt they should have them..And the credit cards burn incessantly.
