AMIRUL MOMINEEN ALI IBN-E-ABU TALIB ALAIHIS SALAMS WARNS MUSLIMS ******************************************************************************* In HIS Sermon 42 recorded in Nahjul Balagah, Imam Ali (a.s) said: O,,People ! I fear most about you for two things; One is acting according to your desires and the other one is extending your hope/expectation...........As regard to your acting under compulsion of your worldly desires, this prevents you away from the Truth.........and as regard to extending your hopes and expectations, it makes one forget the next world.You should knowthat this world is moving very fast(rapidly) and nothing has remained out of it except the last particles like dregs of a vessel which has been emptied by someone.............Beware 1 The next world is advancing and either of them (both world) has sons i.e followers. You should become the sons of the next world and not become the sons of this world because on the Day of Judgement every son would cling to his mother......Today is the day of action and there is no reckoning while tomorrow is the day of reckoning but there would be no (opportunity for) action Reference : Sermon 42 of Imam Ali (a.s) in Nahjul Balaghah.
