AMK condoles sad demise of Amin Kamil RK News Srinagar: Adbee Markaz Kamraz on Thursday held an important meeting to condole the sad demise of valley’s renowned poet and writer Amin Kamil who passed away for heavenly abode this morning in Jammu. The meeting was preside over by the AMK president Dr Aziz Hajni. Kamil sahib who relentlessly worked for the promotion and preservation of Kashmiri language and literature for almost half century has had a pivotal role in liberating the Kashmiri Gazal from its traditional hangover and bring it close to contemporary realities with extra ordinary literary excellence. Adbi Markaz Kamraz feels deprived of a great patron and notes with grief that sad departure of Kamil sahab is end of a golden era and an irreparable loss to Kashmiri language and literature.
