AN ALL-STAR JAM HAS BEEN RELEASED When I listened to the very first All-Star jam, it was LOVE at first PLAY and it became an instant hit because it was the first of its kind. Am talking about MR.DJ. Truth be told, the song WAS, IS & IT WILL ALWAYS BE BAAADDDDD. A Combination of the Big name Artistes coming together for a project was the key that opened the doors for more All-Star Jams in the future. Afterwards, we had the Whistle Song in 2011…call it LOCOMOTIVE. But the word LOCOMOTIVE means LOCAL ARTISTES WITH A MOTIVE. The song also instantly became a Hit dominating all Radio and TV playlists. How I wish WhatsApp was popular at that time, it would have made it even bigger. Anyway fast forward, the year is 2014 and as I type this, there’s another ALL-STAR jam that is hitting the airwaves. This time around, the theme takes a different twist. For the very first time, Artsites are saying a THANKYOU to all Media Houses, DJs, Radio/TV Presenters, Promoters, Fans etc for giving them a chance to shine. The audio was done in Fez Inc. Records produced by Producer Oukinz who gave it an RnB touch forcing some of the Hardcore voices to calm down a little bit…ie: Ziza Bafana. But above all this, I like the fact that this record introduces fresh voices to our ears, potential voices that’ll become BIG in just a matter of time. Cieska Lites who I’ve witnessed grow vocally does the chorus and ohhh my God, UNIQUE and Nutty Boi echoed their Vocal Prowess. When it came to Fille, she did her thing and then Ziza Bafana plus Trekka Man gave the jam de rough side of the Mic with their Ragga ting dis. Santana delivered his comic style and then there’s a new guy…ZEX INCH KUMI BILANGILANGI. Bafana should get worried cos this ki-guy means business. Promoter and Manager Aggie Best went through Turmoil to get all the Guys together but in the end, she pulled it off. Here’s the list of the Artistes in their Order: Albert, Cieska Lites, Santana, Unique, Fille, Geo-Steady, Daggy B, Nutty Boi, Ziza Bafana, Zex Inch Kumi Bilangilangi, JC, Bon Stylez, Trekka Man and Jim City. Just pay special attention to the new voices of Inch Kumi, JC, Jim City and ofcos Cieska who does the Chorus. That’s the Next Generation being groomed in 256 Area Code.
