AN APPEAL TO THE WORLD AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO SAVE THE LIVES OF THE LIBERIAN PEOPLE AND FOREIGN NATIONALS!! As a civil society activist, I believe that nothing is more important now in my country than saving the lives of my fellow Liberians and foreign nationals that are being affected by this deadly Ebola virus which is now moving like a Tsunami affecting and killing hundreds of Liberians and some foreign nationals. Most of those treating the affected Ebola patients have also lost their lives including the head doctor of the only referral hospital in Liberia (JFK Hospital), Dr. Samuel Brisbane, a Ugandan medical doctor, and several other Liberian nurses which is scarring. I am in tears making this humble appeal to humanitarians, doctors, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc to take Liberias case a very serious one. This is a disease war that has been waged on my country and we do not deserve been killed like ants again. We need the intervention of the international community now in Liberia as this Ebola virus does not take into account whether you are an American, Canadian, British, Nigerian, Ghanian, European, etc but it comes, affects and kills with in a short period of time which is troubling. As we speak, an American doctor (Dr. Kent Brantly) who has sacrificed his life to treat Ebola patients in Liberia has also come down with the virus including several other Liberian doctors, nurses and foreign doctors. Liberias case should not be overlooked as there is an urgent need now for troops of medical experts to fly to Liberia now and help save the lives of our people. We are dying!! The lives of the kids in Liberia is in danger! Parents are worried! The nation is crying! Finally, we also call on the Christianity communities from around the world to please pray for Liberians during these difficult periods of national disaster that has engulfed our nation. We need your prayers!
