AN ASSOCIATE PROFFESSOR OF ONE OF DONETSK UNIVERSITIES WAS WOUNDED AS A RESULT OF SHELLING. On 9th August 2014, Saturday at about 5.30 p. m. the castigators renewed artillery shelling of the city Donetsk, capital of the Donetsk republic. This time locality Zhylkop in Kirovskiy district, outskirt of the city Donetsk suffered destruction. Private houses in Chistopolskaya and Lermontova Streets had been hit by shells fired from the rocket launcher “Grad”. A courtyard house was ruined in one of the houses’ yards. A fire started, soon to be quelled by emergency workers. There are no casualties. Associate professor of the Donetsk State Academy of Building and Architecture Eduard Frolov ( he in the shot from video below) got shrapnel wound in the head, and his wife got a light wound in the arm. The elderly man was having rest in the yard, when the shell erupted a few meters away from him, having then gone under the foundation of the house. Besides, these peoples’ dog was killed by a fragment of the shell. “The dog saved my life, as he had taken the biggest fragment upon himself”, - said the victim. The people told us that their house is more than 80 years old. The mansion outlived the German occupation. And now it was demolished by the so-called “liberators”. The neighboring house in Chistopolskaya Street is also partially destroyed. One room is seriously damaged. The elderly woman, who was sleeping in the next room, and two men working in the yard, stayed intact by lucky chance. Old people, who were children or youth during fascists occupation at time of WW2, tell that even German fascists didnt commit crimes, that Kiev junta commit now. In the nights people hiding in basements, now Kiev junta force local people hiding in the basements all time, by day shelling. In this district dont exist checkpoints or defense lines of Donetsk republic forces.
