AN INTERESTING QUOTES Assume a Virtue, if you have it not. Wm. Shakespeare - Hamlet. Act 3, Scene 4 All the worlds a stage and all the people on that stage are actors, acting out their lives as though it were the real thing. But therein lies the rub for when you act as though it is real, it becomes real. Heroes act heroic just as cowards act cowardly. Successful people act successful and ill people act sick. It is the action that is the cause which becomes the reality. Act as though you were the way you wish to be and you will be. This premise is one of the main themes of the Quantum Absolution website burtgoldmanmethod. Regret and guilt are the main designers of attitudes and actions. QA is designed to release those emotions by addressing the cause, the original event, even though the cause is seemingly impossible to determine. All that happens to you, whether it is of a benefit to you, or a detriment, those things that happen, happen because of some event. This event is the stimulus that builds the energy that triggers a thought pattern in your mind. A picture. The thought pattern causes this energy to build so that your body can take some action. You then act, in the manner that your past programming has directed you to act, and you become that which the action instigates. People are different from one another because they react differently to stimulus. Thus the same event could generate two entirely different actions in two people. As example two people are given notice that their jobs are being phased out and they will no longer be employed after a thirty day period. One person builds pictures in his mind of being destitute, of his family hungry, of people feeling sorry for him, or laughing at him. He acts depressed and goes into deep depression. The other sees the layoff as a way to get a better job, he creates visual images of himself lying on a beach, or telling other people what to do. He sees the layoff as a reason to take a much needed vacation. He decides to take a week off and seek a better job. Or even go into business for himself. He acts as though the event has created challenges and welcomes them. Same stimulus event, different pictures of the mind, different energy buildup, and certainly a totally different action. You cannot control events. You cannot control stimulus. You can however, control your attitude through the mental images you create after being confronted by stimulus. If you have a problem with ego, attitude, negativity, guilt or motivation I urge you to look over the quantum absolution program as shown at burtgoldmanmethod. Didn’t mean to preach but the above has some good stuff therein. Burt
