AN OPEN LETTER TO MY ELDERS AT THE GYM Hi guy! This is an open letter to you. I want you to know that youre never too old to learn new things, never too old to improve yourself and become better. As you were doing bicep curls with your buddies at our box the other day, I saw that your knees were tracking over your toes during every rep, elbows flared out to the sides, and your back was over arching to compensate for the weight. I appreciate you inviting me to join in your training regimen. But I do hope, that next time, you will let me safeguard your body from injury. I know im only 26, and you must be in your 40s, and that you have a wealth of experience in your years that I can only gain in time. I respect that. I hope someday you can respect the fact that within the confines of our box/gym, it is my duty to make you better - that is, stepping out fitter, and healthier than you were before you stepped in. Guy, the next time we meet, I hope you can let me correct your form. After that, im sure there are a lot of things you can teach me as well.
