AN OPEN LETTER TO P.D.P MEMBERS ZAMFARA STATE!! Praise belongs to Almighty ALLAH, to whom all praise is due. Whatever blessing ALLAH (SWT) bestows upon His subject, He did so for a reason, if man wants to continue enjoying such blessing, he has to follow divine injunctions and be thankful and submissive to ALLAH otherwise the blessing may be withdrawn. The importance of leadership in any human society cannot be overstressed. It is even more pronounced within the Muslim Community given the position Leadership occupies in Islam. Right from the beginning of creation, ALLAH (SWT) appointed man to serve as His vicegerent. I have decided to write this letter as a reminder to all our teeming supporters across the state, also to called the attention of our elders concerning the ongoing race that is currently going on about who will be the next running mate of Alh. Mahmud Aliyu shinkafi in the upcoming general election. We all know what took place just last week during our primary election where two candidate i.e SAGIR HAMIDU SARKIN RAFIN GUSAU and ALH BASHIR ADAMU IMAD withdraw from the race and decided to support Mamuda candidature in which finally he emerged as the winner. While the remaining two disagree with any form of concensus until after their names was announced as a loorsers. But to our suprises since yesterday a rumorse is consistently going round that Hon Matawalle was begging for a slot as a deputy Governor, another one saying Malami will go as Mamuda’s running mate in which will make way for Ibrahim Bakauye to go for Senate. If this exactly happen then what does our elders means? What is the faith of SARKIN RAFIN who has been loyal to them through out during this race. To me, even if they think they must find a way to insert MATAWALLE and BAKAUYE, and then is simple in this way; Armaya’u should step for Takori and Takori should fave way for MATAWALLE simple. While in central zone MAHADI ALIYU GUSAU should step down for BAKAUYE in other to go back for his seat. But the issue of not giving SAGIR SARKIN RAFI a Deputy Governor does not arise, considering the role he played in P.D.P and the total loyalty he shows during party consensus. Also our Abuja elders has to know this, SAGIR HAMIDU SARKIN RAFI does not appoint himself as a Deputy Governor, rather was begged by his people more especially from Central Zone to step down as a Deputy to join hand together to build new Zamfara in which both he and Mamuda agree with this called of their people. I think Mamuda being him the ticket bearer has the right to choose who ever he wishes as his running mate, but failure to do this will lead to a very serious crisis that can even lead to the break up of the party in CENTRAL ZONE. Finally, I charged the youth to re-orient themselves on their code of conduct which forms the basis for various associations, union and other pressure groups. I equally called on youth to stand on the side of truth no matter how bitter it is and support peaceful and responsible politicians in the interest of humanity. I believe youth the world over are known to be agents of change, so our youth should take cue from their counterparts in the developed countries by pursuing and championing issues that would attempt to bring positive change for the betterment of all our people in the state. “I don’t have god-father; the only god-father I have is the God Almighty himself. I have never had god-fathers in my life but I have mentors I respect, no body can force me to do what is not right. I am not designed so,” “WE MUST PUT AN END TO THE BELIEF THAT OUR GENERATION CANNOT SEE A NEW ZAMFARA WHEN ALL THE TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB REMAINS FIRMLY WITHIN OUR REACH. WE HAVE THE PEOPLE, WE HAVE THE WILL, AND WE HAVE THE RESOURCES TO REBUILD NEW ZAMFARA. “REMEMBER IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, THEN YOU MUST BE PART OF THE PROBLEM..! JOIN US NOW TO SAVE AND REBUILD ZAMFARA STATE” May Almighty ALLAH reward all abundantly and ensure peaceful, successful and victorious election.
