AN OUTSIDER One evening, in the middle of the evening singing, an unusual looking man entered, with blond curls, in thick black shoes and apparently clothed in only a black raincoat. Whilst everyone stared with horror at his black shoes, which one should in any case remove immediately upon entering the ashram, Babaji shouted to him from a distance: I like you! During conversation later, I realized that he was a very unconventional and lively man. He was simply an innocent and had no knowledge of ashram rules.
