The legend of the film mentions that it is based on a true story of how - Manohar Surve - a decent young man from a middle class family who also happened to be a good student is turned into a hard boiled criminal by the shenanigans of Mumbai Police. The script goes on to show how the runaway convict” Manya Surve’ is eliminated by the Mumbai Police in an encounter at the behest of a dreaded Don. This, the legend proudly says, is one of the 1860~ encounters till date to the credit of Mumbai Police. Obviously factual as it is Censor Board approved. If all this that has happened in Congress ruled State of Maharashtra is not only never talked about and furiously debated, why then is there such a hue and cry when the Gujarat Police eliminates four dreaded LeT terrorists and their Indian accomplices in similar encounters?
