*AN UPDATE ON RECENT NEWS* As you will have heard, all Councils are having to reduce/change their services to match the funding they receive from the government. As a result Rotherham Council has approved a consultation process to discuss saving £2.2 million (over 2 years) within the early years service. This involves the proposal to close 13 Childrens Centres-leaving 7 open! These have not been... named yet but the Council have said that no centre would close before April 2015. We would like to reassure you that whilst this is a very unsettling time for all, Ryton Brook Childrens Centre will continue to provide families with all the usual services and support. It is expected that the public consultation will take 3 months (no details yet) and during this time you will have the oppportunity to make your views known.
