ANALYSING THE MOVIE PK……..ON A LIGHTER NOTE THE MOVIE ACTUALLY UPHOLDS HINDUISM HOW………..READ ON Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya! Om Namo Narayanaya! Om Namah Shivaya! Dear Friends I don’t want to guess what was the exact intentions behind making the film but PK actually upholds the strength of Hinduism……How?...........read on 1) PK an alien comes to earth and tries all religions………HE GOES TO THE TEMPLE, THE CHURCH AND THE MOSQUE ……….he is unable to find God in any of these places…………BUT WHAT APPEALS TO EVEN AN ALIEN IS HINDUISM…..therefore he was in CONSTANT SEARCH FOR HINDU GODS viz…………GANESHA………SHIVA………………….HANUMANJI etc………….well isn’t that an indirect praise for Hinduism?............it sustained his query. 2) In Bhagavad Gita Bhagavan Shri Krishna says that whatever you do in life IF YOU CONSTANTLY THINK OF GOD THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO GOD AND REACH YOUR GOAL……….. THAT WAS WHAT PK WAS DOING EXACTLY………..IN HIS SEARCH FOR LORD SHIVA……he landed up seeing a man dressed as Lord Shiva and thinking him to be THE REAL LORD SHIVA he started chasing him……now in the entire process his mind was constantly FIXED ON LORD SHIVA………OH GOD, OH SHIVA, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME, I WANT MY TRANSMITTER, WHERE ARE YOU RUNNING LORD SHIVA………….and actually LORD SHIVA THE BENEVOLENT ETERNAL GOD LISTENED TO HIM………that’s why he made the man dressed as LORD SHIVA run to the place where PK could spot his transmitter……….THATS HOW HE WAS ABLE TO DISCOVER HIS TRANSMITTER………WAS THAT NOT WHAT PK WAS ASKING LORD SHIVA FOR Irrespective of the way whether it is right or wrong……….whether it is conceptualization through an idol or temple or the abstract……………….. If you constantly think of god you will reach the right goal……….the thought is important Most important in your process is the strength of your BELIEF…….In the movie PK really believed the man dressed as Lord Shiva to be Shiva……….and he believed that Lord Shiva could get him the transmitter……………HIS BELIEF IN LORD SHIVA LED HIM TO THE PLACE WHERE HIS TRANSMITTER WAS………………similarly IF YOU BELIEVE THE IDOL OF LORD SHIVA TO BE SHIVA AND FULLY FIX YOUR THOUGHTS ON IT………….LORD SHIVA WILL LISTEN TO YOU………..LORD SHIVA WILL NOT GET ANGRY SAYING……..HOW CAN YOU CONCEPTUALIZE ME IN A SMALL IDOL OR HOW CAN YOU CONCEPTUALIZE ME IN ABSTRACT A number of Hindu scriptures does tell how even demons when they MEDITATED AND FIXED THEIR MIND on LORD SHIVA………LIKE RAVANA IN RAMAYANA…………LORD SHIVA GRANTED THEM BOONS. 3) ONE MAY ASK THAT IF LORD SHIVA LED HIM TO HIS DESTINATION WHY DID HE NOT GIVE HIM THE TRANSMITTER THEN AND THERE?...............Well there are two aspects of achieving something in life………….one is BHAKTI…………..the other is YUKTI………..THROUGH BHAKTI GOD SHOWS YOU THE PATH………IT WAS PK’S BHAKTI WHICH LED HIM TO FIND OUT WHERE HIS TRANSMITTER WAS …………the next part YUKTI ……….THE STRATEGY BY WHICH YOU CAN GET IT HAS TO BE PLANNED BY US…………in Yukti God becomes an unseen force who gives you the execution plan but makes you feel that you are doing it……….SO BY YUKTI PK GOT BACK HIS TANSMITTER IN MAHABHARATA LORD KRISHNA ALSO GIVES THE SAME MESSAGE…………THOUGH THE PANDAVAS WERE HAVING BHAKTI THEY LACKED IN YUKTI………HE MADE THE PANDAVAS PLAY THE DIFFERENT STRATEGIES/TRICKS TO WIN THE WAR…………..THAT IS YUKTI………….YUKTI IS CORRECT SO LONG AS IT UPHOLDS DHARMA. So fix your mind on God ………..and say OM NAMAH SHIVAYA………that’s my conclusion of PK This post does not intend to hurt the intentions of anyone………….it is only my personal opinion Jai Gurudev!
