ANC milling to file writ petition against Army and related agencies Awami National Conference Wednesday said that it is mulling to file a writ petition in the court of law to expose different Intelligence Agencies of India that have reportedly been funding individuals and political parties in Jammu and Kashmir. “The party wants to know for which purpose these funds were transferred and how it has been utilized,” Senior Vice President of the party Muzafar Ahmed Shah said. In a statement issued to CNS, Shah said that India should take a cue from Pakistan where a petition was filed by retired Air Marshall Asghar Khan to expose the designs of former ISI Chief who funded Islami Jamhoori Itehad to prevent Benazir Bhutto from winning elections. Shah said that as per the recoreds available the Indian army is showing an expenditure to the tune of Rs 450 Crore in Jammu and Kashmir in J&K to win the hearts and minds of people. He said that such expenditures done through the army by selecting public representatives without consultation or knowledge of state government smacks of third degree corrupt practices foisted on the unfortunate people of this trouble torn state through their chosen ones.
