AND ENOCH WALKED WITH GOD. . . . -------------------------------------------GENESIS 5:24-------------------------------- Gracious God, how did they know that Enoch walked with You? What were the undeniable signs? Was it his serenity, composure, and attitude? Did it produce a radiance on his face, a lilt in his voice, a strength in his character? Theres only a one-line epithet in Scripture, a single-sentence biography. And yet people knew that he walked with You. That makes me wonder how people will know today that I dedicated my life to walking with you. Who will see any difference and why? Lord, I renew my commitment to walking in the light of Your truth. Thank You that I dont need to stumble about with no sense of direction. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I can live by the absolutes of Your commandments; I know right from wrong. Master, I want to walk in Your love. May the assurance of Your love and forgiveness in my life give me that undeniable security and confidence only You can provide. Today I will walk in the Spirit. I know I am not capable of handling the demands of this day on my own. Dwell in me and provide the wisdom, insight, vision, and hope that I need.........Amen
