AND THEN....THE NEXT DAY CAME.... Let me show you a few things.~Justin Timberlake ;)~ I would like to add...let me show you a few more...If you have the time that is..... Hey! How are we doing on this beautiful night? I am feeling fantastic again, thank the lord.... It wasnt like I had some kind of SUIT & TIE day or anything, in fact it was more like the blue collar type that I enjoy just as much these days, and that suited me just fine....Its all in the perspective, right?...Of course, knowing the fact that today was a new day to experience anyway I chose too, was also just as important to the outcomes... Now, it was just as busy, and I had to go back to the second place after work with my birth certificate, but my attitude towards all of it was completely different than it was yesterday...I was ready for it I think...and today we had one thing that was lacking yesterday....Laughter...and for me it kept going into the evening as well... I dont know about you, but I really get a kick out of it when someone asks me to pee in a cup and hand it to them afterwards....Hmmmm...Here you go sir...here is my pee...enjoy it...and let me know if you would like some more..k? The things we go through these days for a job... I mean its kind of invasive at times dont ya think? My fluids, my drivers license, my ss #, a background check, a credit report, 8 pages of paperwork, references....a lifting test? I lift all day long, 5 days a week...now I have to pick up a box and move it over there and back...in front of you? I guess I have had worse auditions for movie parts in my day...so why not? At least at the end of all of this stuff I am almost positive...I got the job.... So there ya go my friends, I am now officially on the schedule to bartend, part-time, at the Anchorage Museum, and I have to tell you....I am both honored, and privileged to be given the opportunity...I cant wait...Next Saturday at 4pm I start my first shift...and next Monday I get to go to taps training at the Alaska Center...another first experience for your Lance...But, its just another welcome addition to my life up here, and my day job does keep me busy...in fact I am back at it for a few Saturday hours there tomorrow... But, its great to have another day here in the Last frontier to enjoy...I look so forward to more....
