AND yet another great venue goes under, a massive blow to the Scene up North... ..............ANNOUNCEMENT When I went into work yesterday morning I was met with the news that the owners of Trillians have went into adminstration. Therefore with immediate effect we were told to stop trading and Trillians was closed(through no fault of our own ). After 12 years of service I was told this over the phone that myself and all the staff were made redundant with immediate effect. Classy. I would like to take a minute to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the years customers,bands,agents etc and would like to give a special mention to Laura my assistant manager whom I have worked with , everyday, for the last decade. As you can imagine Im utterly heartbroken by this turn of events and apologise that people did not get the chance to see the place off. Please dont ask me about refunds for gigs etc as I have no info and cant even access the building. This is all I can say on the subject for now. Let the job hunting begin.
