ANDREW AWUNI AND HIS NPP EXPOSED *************************************************** Apart from the dirty politics they are trying to meddle the merchant bank sale in to divert attention from the Drill Ship brouhaha, the NPP is also deceiving Ghanaians into thinking we had a better deal with First Rand Bank (a foreign entity), when actually their main target is to cause Ghana to lose huge sums of money through bad loans People like mr. Appiah Menka, Myroc Food, Western Steel, Kinsman Enterprise, Seth Dovlo etc who are all NPP functionaries, supporters and financiers owe about 81% of the Merchant Bank debt portfolio. The First Rand bank bidding excludes the merchant Bank debt portfolios, so who benefits more if the bank was sold to the First Rand? All indications point to the fact that Appiah Menka and co dont have up to that amount to pay back their loans since NPP has been out of power for a long time. So if First Rand had won the bid, it means that all the Merchant Bank debts would be written off as bad debts to let those NPP financiers off the hook. If this is not the agenda for the debts to be written off, the nation wreckers would be pushing for the UT bank deal, which is also good but not as good as that of Fortz.
