ANIMALS Containing HUMAN Material......As in the Days of NOAH. Animals containing human tissues, cells or genetic information are used to refine research methods, creating animal models that better represent human disease and which can be used to develop new treatments. A report by the Academy of Medical Sciences examined the scientific, social, ethical, safety and regulatory aspects of research involving animals containing human material (ACHM). It made recommendations for the future regulation of research of this and identified proposed that experiments involving ACHM classified into three categories, to help determine the level of regulatory scrutiny required. [link to acmedsci.ac.uk] The report talks about: * Extensive modification of the brain of an animal, by implantation of human-derived cells, which might result in altered cognitive capacity approaching human consciousness or sentience or human-like behavior capabilities. * Situations where functional human gametes (eggs, sperm) might develop from precursor cell-types in an animal; and where fertilisation between either human (or human-derived) gametes and animal gametes might then occur. * Cellular or genetic modifications which could result in animals with aspects of human-like appearance (skin type, limb or facial structure) or characteristics, such as speech. And those animals, from their middle downward, were in the shape of the children of men, and from their middle upward, some had the likeness of bears, and some the likeness of the keephas, with tails behind them from between their shoulders reaching down to the earth, like the tails of the ducheephath, and these animals came and mounted and rode upon these asses, and led them away, and they went away unto this day. [link to ccel.org] And JASHER 65 describes hybrids, but in the exacty OPPOSITE way, read: JASHER 65:15 And Zepho went and he saw and behold there was a large cave at the bottom of the mountain, and there was a great stone there at the entrance of the cave, and Zepho split the stone and he came into the cave and he looked and behold, a large animal was devouring the ox; from the middle upward it resembled a man, and from the middle downward it resembled an animal, and Zepho rose up against the animal and slew it with his swords.
