:( :( :( :( :( ANNIE Hasnt Sony had enough embarrassment this year? Apparently not because they released this abomination of a film. Its bad enough when you take a classic and try to convert it to an all black cast and change the music to a rock/hip hop arrangements, but then you cast it with no one that can sing. The music was written for a different time period and the lyrics didnt work and the arrangements were extremely irritating. And the sound editing is the new thing where the soundtrack is twice as loud as the vocals. Oops. If Jamie Fox had been smarter about this he would have taken his story and written ALL NEW MUSIC and he might have had a winner. Oh, and recast it with talent. Oh, and not call it Annie.
