ANNOUNCEMENT! After 3 years since our successful 1st Alumni Homecoming in Dec 2011, “Ang Paghirinimbon”, the Agutayan-Lupa Alumni Association is happy to announce to all alumni that we will be holding our 2nd Alumni Homecoming with the theme: “Pagtiriripon 2014” on December 21, 2014. The 2nd alumni homecoming is being held primarily to have a get-together and strengthen the bond of the alumni and to help fund the one-room project of the alumni. This project will not only help the students of our alma mater but would also be used as evacuation center of families of barangays Agutayan and Lupa severely affected by calamities like typhoons and floods (remember Typhoon Frank?) To date, the total funds donated by generous alumni and concerned families as well as gathered by the officers of the alumni association through income-generating projects and events amount to Php241,343.78 (the details will be posted in our group). Based on the specifications of DepEd, the estimated cost of one-room project is approximately Php650,000.00. We are almost half-way there. We are targeting January of 2015 to start with the project. It is indeed a very big amount but with the continued support and generosity of our alumni and concerned families, we will surely be able to build this project. We are also appealing for funds assistance from other people, families and organizations who believe in our cause. So, COME and please HELP BUILD this project with us.
