ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE HOME OFFICE: August 4, 2013 We know that many of you still have unanswered questions about the Fall 2014 Festival at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. While we are busy working to answer those questions, here is what we have determined thus far: The first of the Exchanged Fall 2014 Tickets are beginning to go out in today’s mail and as the week goes on, more will follow. Staff letters are also starting to be sent out now. If you have questions about your crew status, please contact your crew leader. We are still working to determine the exchange status of complimentary tickets. If you have a Fall 2013 complimentary ticket, please hang tight, you will be notified. It won’t be much longer until we can announce the full lineup and Main Stage schedule. Hog Ranch Radio will broadcast as usual, there will be a full Strawberry Kid’s Program, Amy’s Orchid Lounge and the Breakfast Club will take place, and we will have a another Workshop stage as well. Many of our familiar favorites in the Food Court and the Artisan Tent will be joining us mixed in with a few new treats. The camping area is a mixture of meadow and forest camping, and staff will be on site to assist folks finding new spots. There are permanent restrooms throughout the inner fairgrounds and in the camping area and there will be portable toilets with hand washing stations throughout camp. We are currently working to produce of a map of the Nevada County Fairgrounds much like the Camp Mather map that has graced the program cover for many years. The new map will be available to view on the website a couple of weeks prior to the festival. After 10 longs months of uncertainty, one thing is sure; the Fall 2014 Festival is happening. While working through the particulars and adjusting to change has posed challenges, we could not be more excited! What you can do to support the continuing tradition that is Strawberry Music Festival, is to attend this Fall Festival! The community that has evolved over the past 33 years is the reason that we are still standing today- so we need to see you there! More information will follow as is becomes available.
