ANNOUNCEMENT: Helping Hands Outreach Center now has 2 new services to help the people of Shelby County! They may sound similar, but one is much more in depth than the other. They are: A Fresh Start: The goal of this program is to create a fresh start for people on a one-on-one basis. We will spend time with each individual and help them in different areas of their lives. this includes things like: Job Search, Money management, Housing, Vehicle, Church Home, Setting Goals and getting priorities straight. Job Coaching: For those who are in search of just a job, we want to help out in anyway we can. We are not the TWC, but we can be another tool that helps in that same area. We want to offer things like: Online job searches, assistance with a resume, contacting TWC, calling other local businesses, and filling out applications. Once again, this is a one-on-one service that focuses on finding a job. We are in the process of adding more services to our list as soon as we work out the details. for information on the Helping Hand program or Job Coaching, please call us between the hours of 9am and 3pm, Mon-Fri.
